It features adjustable brass support rods that fit in the rear of the cylinder and support the extractor star and guide pins when removing and re-installing the ejector rod. the body is Stainless steel, and the rods are brass.

Extractor Rod Tool for the Smith & Wesson J Frame Revolvers. This No-Mar tool is made of aluminum and is line knurled on the outer edge for leverage. This tool will give you plenty of leverage to remove and re-install the Extractor Rod without gouging or damaging it

GST S&W Rebound Slide Spring Tool (005-006-SAW)

This tool easily and correctly compresses the rebound slide spring. It is bent to clear the frame and slotted to get past the frame pin while installing or removing the rebound slide. Fits all J, K, L, and N frames. This tool is manufactured in a way that allows the over all length to be shortened if desired. Simply remove shaft from handle by loosening set screw, cut to desired length, and re-install.
